A polished website, strong reviews, or one accreditation badge does not answer every safety question. Verify each layer with the relevant official source where possible.
Clinician
Confirm professional registration, specialty credentials where applicable, and that the person you researched is the person who will perform the procedure.
Facility
Check licensing or registration, procedure capability, infection-control expectations, and whether the setting matches the procedure.
Emergency backup
Ask where escalation happens, how transfer works, and what services are available if the expected course changes.
Follow-up
Know who handles questions after discharge and what happens after you return home.
