Safe Medical Travel is an editorial website that publishes information about medical tourism safety. It is not a medical practice, a clinic, a booking agency, or a travel agency.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing on this site substitutes for a consultation with a qualified physician. If you're considering any medical procedure — in Colombia, in the US, or anywhere else — talk to a licensed medical professional who can evaluate your specific case. Information here is general, editorial, and not tailored to any individual's medical circumstances.
We do our best to publish accurate, current data. But numbers change. Travel advisories are reissued. Crime statistics get revised. Hospital accreditations lapse or renew. We date our data. You should verify anything material to your decision at its primary source before acting on it.
When you ask us to introduce you to a clinic partner, we may receive a facilitator fee from that clinic when you complete a procedure. This is disclosed here and referenced in our "About" page. It doesn't change the price you pay. It aligns our incentives with your outcome — bad referrals end the business. But you should know the arrangement exists.
Not every clinic we mention editorially is a referral partner. When we cite a hospital or surgeon for accreditation or credentialing reasons, that's editorial coverage, not a paid endorsement.
We link to external sources (Numbeo, US State Department, JCI, ReTHUS, WHO, news outlets, hospital websites). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
When you send us a message through our contact form, on WhatsApp, or by email, you grant us permission to store and use that information to reply to you and, if you ask, to introduce you to relevant clinics. You retain all other rights to your information.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.
